I absolutely adore this sweet family and have had the pleasure of taking their family photos and now getting to document the beginning of a new adventure, their sweet baby girl! This family was all smiles and laughs during their session and we had the most perfect weather. You all are such wonderful people and I cannot wait to meet sweet baby Finley! She is very blessed to be born into such a family!
Jen and Matt's Engagement Sneak Peek
I had the best time visiting some place completely different for their engagement session. We went right on the Tennessee/ North Carolina border to Carvers Gap on Roan Mountain. It was a perfect evening for a session not to hot and not chilly while on the top of the mountain. These two were all giggles the whole session. One thing that was so funny between these two was that they literally were finishing each others sentences, but with songs. These two were made for each other and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this fall! Eric and Lauren’s Wedding Sneak Peek
This was such an amazing wedding! Not only were the bride and groom very good friends of ours but we were fortunate to be able to do a sunrise pre wedding photoshoot as well as document their wedding day. The sunrise shoot was amazing waking up at 4 am to chase the sun as it peaked up over the mountains of Utah was one I will not soon forget. Lauren knew that she wanted to do a photoshoot before the big day but did not want Eric to see her actual dress so this lovely lady had two different dresses that made her look stunning. The day of their wedding went so perfect and everything was perfectly timed, I have never been to a wedding where everything was right on time if not a little early. It’s not often you see the bride just waiting for the ceremony to start. These two are so perfect together and it was so wonderful to celebrate them with family and friends. Traveling to Utah was not something we expected but so excited that Lauren and Eric asked us to photograph their day. I hope you two have a lovely honeymoon in Hawaii and cannot wait to share the rest of your photos with you!
Cady Wedding Sneak Peek
This wedding took place at Compassionate Expressions Mountain Inn. It is a beautiful little spot tucked away in the mountains of Leicester, North Carolina. The views of this place were breath taking. Brianna and Tyler were so sweet. The whole time we were taking pictures they kept whispering “I Love You” to each other. Everyone should feel such bliss on their wedding day! The Inn has no cell service which made for a perfect wedding. All eyes were on them no phones out, just everyone watching the ceremony. Tyler is in the service and they will be making a cross country move soon. It is going to be such a great adventure for these two to set out on together. With such an amazing family there to cheer them on and lean on for support you know Brianna and Tyler have a great future ahead of them! Elliott’s 1 Year Session Sneak Peak
This little cutie was the most observant 1 year old I have ever met! Elliot is such a sweetheart and loved his carrot cake cupcake. He’s a pretty smart little guy and used the candle like a handle and ate it like a giant lollipop. He was all about playing in the wet grass and even though we had a little bit of rain on our session Elliott did not mind. I hope that this little guy has the best birthday and can’t wait to show more of his sweet pics!
Trevor and Miranda Sierra Nevada Proposal
I have never seen such a big group come together to support the love between two people at their surprise proposal. Not only do Miranda and Trevor have a great support system, that amazing group of people drove all the way from Knoxville to be there. It finally stopped raining just in time for Trevor to pop the question and of course these two high school sweethearts will be getting married because…. Miranda said “YES!” Trevor, Miranda and all your family thank you for asking me to be apart of your special event!
Cornwell Wedding Sneak Peek
This was such a sweet wedding! I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet couple back in the fall when we did engagement pictures together. They are so sweet and loving. The ceremony took place at the church that Gage grew up going to, with family all around this couple said I do. We then moved onto the Lewis Family Farm where the views were breathtaking. Clarissa and Gage have a wonderful family that love and supported them through the whole day and made it such a fun day with dancing and conga lines. Biltmore Mother and Daughter Session
I had an absolutely amazing time with Cythia and her mother. Cynthia contacted me a couple months ago wanting to do a fun Mothers Day photoshoot as a surprise for her mother. They are from Florida and each year they take a special mother daughter trip somewhere new around Mother’s Day just to be together. You could tell from the very beginning that these two had a special bond. They acted and giggled more like best friends, something I think every mother and daughter wish to be. It was an absolute joy to meet you both and I hope that you have a wonderful rest of your vacation here in North Carolina and I cannot wait if the future brings us back together again for some more fun photoshoots! Smithson Family Sneak Peek
Oh my goodness this family is so precious! Their little boy Brooks was nothing but smiles and talking the whole time! He was the perfect little model and was having a great time! Stacy and Luke have one cute little family and I was so excited to do their session. The rain postponed the session we had previously planned but everything happens for a reason because we couldn’t have asked for better weather last night! Jacob and Daitra Sneak Peek
I had a lovely time getting to know this couple and their sweet little pup, Cyber. Jacob and Daitra had a small elopement at Lake Lure back in December and decided that they were going go get dressed back up and get some pictures to document the occasion.
